Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 08 important cases on Wednesday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal division bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq heard 8 cases and adjourned all the cases until the next hearing.

The Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourned the hearing of 8 cases which includes M/s  Uch Power versus directorate Multan Unit Sadiqabad, Customs Lahore versus Sami Ullah, Ahsan Mehmood versus customs Lahore.

On Wednesday, the tribunal heard cases of M/s Maxi Inch versus Valuation Lahore, Nimra Textile versus customs Faisalabad and Hajvery Traders versus customs Lahore.

On Tuesday, Customs Appellate Tribunal heard cases including customs Sambrial versus Nawab Zada Haider, Zafer Brothers three appeals versus customs Multan, Sohail and others versus customs Lahore, Sajjad Mehmood versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Excell Pakistan versus customs Faisalabad.

Customs Appellate Tribunal heard cases of Al-Rehman Fabric versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, M.S Amina Khan versus customs Lahore, customs Faisalabad versus Kamal Textile, customs Faisalabad versus Sweety Textile.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard the cases of customs Lahore versus M/s Maxi Inch, Abid versus customs Faisalabad, Javaid Khan versus customs Faisalabad, Dildar Jani versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, customs Multan versus Abdul Rauf, Rosahan Packages versus customs Lahore and Shokat Soap versus Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore.

In all the cases, counsels for appellants and recipients appeared before the court and submitted arguments. After hearing the arguments from all the parties, the tribunal member reserved verdict in just few cases and all other cases’ hearings were adjourned for next dates.
