Faisalabad intelligence impounds non duty paid Toyota Fielder

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Customs Intelligence and Investigation has impounded a non duty paid Toyota Fielder (X), car. The market value of seized Toyota Fielder is Rs25,00,000 involving customs duty and taxes Rs28,95,500.

Sources told Customs Today, that Customs Intelligence team received credible information through Deputy Director Riaz Hussain regarding non duty paid vehicles which are plying on the roads in Faisalabad.

After receiving the tip of he immediately formed a raiding team comprising Superintendent Zahid Raza Bukhari, Senior Intelligence Officer Muhammad Tahir and Muhammad Ramazan, Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Saddique and Sepoy Liaqat Ali, Israr Ahmed, Mussadaq Ahmed, Saif ullah.

The Customs Intelligence team intercepted a Toyota Fielder car X bearing registration No. AAN-349 ( Quetta ), model 2005 as per seat belt in black colour near Jhang Road.

The intelligence team asked accused person who was identified as Agha Muhammad to produce legal documents regarding possession of Toyota car but he failed to provide the same. The higher authority seized the car and registered a case against the owner of the car.
