Customs Appraisement to hold auction of vehicles, goods today

LAHORE: The Customs Appraisment is going to hold auction of impounded vehicles, and other goods confiscated in different actions today. Auction will be conducted under section of 1/2017 of transit trade.

Customs sources told Customs Today that seized items including impounded cars, spare parts, CCTV cameras, wood  items, fabrics, floating glass, ball bearings, wires, polypropylene, printed sheets, shoes, iron and other goods will be presented for the auction on ‘as it is where it is’ basis. Interested parties and persons have already checked the goods to participate in auction.

Customs auctioneer has issued directions that any person who wants to participate in auction of vehicles and other goods should bring his national identity card on the day of auction. The National Tax Number (NTN) is also mandatory to participate in the auction.

Auctioneer of Customs Appraisement at NLCCT container terminal said that impounded cars, generators, tyres, cloths and other items will be presented for auction. Large number of cars including imported heavy vehicles of Japan will also be presented for auction.
