Customs earns Rs12817.94m all duty taxes during nine months

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar (MCCP) collected Rs12817.94million all duty taxes during eight and a half months (July to 15th March) Financial Year 2016-17. The MCCP collected Rs15346.13million during same period of corresponding year2015-16.

The Peshawar Collectorate generated Rs4844.88million Customs Duty (CD) during above said period whereas the collectorate did Rs5522.49million during same period of corresponding year of 2015-16 under same head.
The MCC Peshawar received Rs3045.6million Sales Tax during above said period while the collectorate did Rs3628.7million during same period of corresponding year 2015-16.
The MCC Peshawar earned Rs1227.09million Sales Tax levied as FED on palm oil during eight and a half months of Financial Year 2016-17 whereas it did Rs1703.25million under same head during said period of corresponding year.
The Peshawar Collectorate collected Rs453.2million Sales Tax value addition on commercial importers during above said period whereas it did Rs518.72million Sales Tax value addition on commercial importers during same period of corresponding year 2015-16.
The collectorate received Rs121.26million Federal Excise Duty during eight and a half months of FY2016-17 whereas it did Rs182.99million under same head during FY2015-16. The collectorate also generated Rs3125.83million Additional Income Tax during above said period whereas it did Rs3789.94million under same head during eight and a half months of FY2015-16.
