More exhibitors participate in My Karachi expo: KCCI President

KARACHI: Besides many local companies, exhibitors from Russia, Belarus, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Romania, Ukraine, Malaysia, Iran, Turkey, Thailand and Indonesia are participating in 3-day “My Karachi : Oasis of Harmony “ international trade exhibition scheduled to start from April 7 at Karachi Expo Centre.

Thailand has also booked 30 stalls and Indonesia has reserved 10 stalls for establishing huge pavilions, President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Shamim Ahmed Firpo said in a statement on Thursday.

The expo would continue till April 9 and the timing would be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The entry in exhibition is free. One million visitors were expected in three days. KCCI had been organising this international trade event since 2004, which had won recognition from the business world and the participation of domestic and foreign exhibitors was increasing every year, he said.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah would inaugurate 14th edition of “My Karachi : Oasis of Harmony” exhibition at 9:30am on Friday.

KCCI Chief said My Karachi exhibition had succeeded in achieving its objectives of promoting the positive image of Pakistan especially of Karachi and introduce ‘Made in Pakistan’ products worldwide. He appreciated the support extended by Sindh Government, Governor Sindh and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan for making this event successful.
