Peshawar & Kohat customs earn Rs09.86m through auction of impounded vehicles & goods

PESHAWAR: The Auction Cells of Kohat and Peshawar Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation earned Rs9.86million by holding auction of confiscated goods and non-duty-paid offending vehicles (vehicles used for smuggled goods) during the month of March of Financial Year 2016-17.

During the month of March FY16-17, the Kohat Auction Cell earned Rs1.19million miscellaneous taxes and surcharges whereas the same cell collected Rs0.14million Customs Duty from impounded goods and vehicles during above said period and it also collected Rs0.06million Additional Income Tax.
