LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s Division Bench-II (single and double), comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq, heard 15 cases and adjourned all of them until the next hearing.
The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s single bench, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, heard six cases including Yousaf & Brothers versus Customs Lahore, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat versus Muhammad Luqman, Mukhtar Khan versus Customs Faisalabad, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Al-Husain trading, Muhammad Husnain versus Customs Faisalabad and Nasrullah versus Directorate Multan Unit DG Khan.
On Tuesday, the tribunal division bench-II heard nine cases of Abid Shah versus Customs Faisalabad, Javid Khan versus Customs Faisalabad, Gulistan Textile versus Customs Multan, Shehnaz Perveen versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Cotton Craft versus Customs Lahore.
Furthermore, the tribunal heard Amjed Ali versus Customs Faisalabad, Raja Intesar Mehboob versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, Baram Khan versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore and Customs Faisalabad versus Muhammad Ahmed.
In all the cases, representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favor of their respective parties. After hearing the arguments from parties, the Customs Appellate Tribunal reserved the verdicts in one case and adjourned all the other cases until the next hearing.
