RTO II blocks account of tax defaulter, deducts Rs500,000

LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office II has expedited its campaign against the tax defaulters and blocked account of a resident, beside deducting Rs500,000.

According to the sources, drive against defaulters is on the rise including freezing the accounts of a number of non-filers. This step has been taken to meet the revenue target, they added.
