LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office II has expedited its campaign against the tax defaulters and blocked account of a resident, beside deducting Rs500,000.
According to the sources, drive against defaulters is on the rise including freezing the accounts of a number of non-filers. This step has been taken to meet the revenue target, they added.
The RTO II blocked the account of one resident of Allama Iqbal Town Lubna Zaheer and deducted Rs 500,000 under the recovery drive, they added.
