Saudi Customs organizes a regional workshop on the role of customs in border security

RIYADH: Saudi Customs has set up on Monday, 1438/8 / 5e regional workshop entitled “The role of customs in border security” and that the main hall of the Diwan of interest and with the participation of experts from the World Customs Organization and a number of employees of the Customs states in the region and Saudi Customs.

The workshop included, which continue its activities for four days to discuss a number of themes, it was the most important discussion on the identification and classification of challenges and security threats across the border province of North Africa and the Near and Middle East, and to find solutions to overcome them, and included events review control network customs applications and discuss their effectiveness in security the border. It is scheduled to provide a number of working papers listed in the workshop prepared for the program in the next three days, that includes the final day of the activities of a panel discussion on what has been reviewed and discussed.
