FIA arrests three human traffickers

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested Proclaimed Offenders (POs), involved in different registered cases of human trafficking.

As per details here on Thursday, the PO Zulfiqar Ali s/o Abdul Majeed, resident of Samanabad Faisalabad was arrested as he was involved in extorting Rs 50000 and US$ 5100 from complainant Muhammad Shafique of Faisalabad.

The accused also extorted Rs 50000 and US $ 48000 from complainant Ghulam Murtaza for overseas employment to Korea. Another accused (PO) Bashir Ahmed s/o Ghulam Haider, resident of Mianwali was also arrested and allegation against him was extorting Rs 1,40,000 from complainant Muhammad Raza of Chakwal for overseas employment to Kuwait.

The FIA also nabbed three persons Muhammad Asif Shahzad s/o Ashiq Hussain Mughal, resident of Hussain Shah Qabarstan Wadhat Colony Tehsil and District Gujranwala, a land route Agent Nasir Iqbal s/o Muhammad Akram, resident of Gujrat and Ihsan Muhammad s/o Shair Muhammad Jutt, resident of Dali Banth Tehsil, District Gujrat in human trafficking cases.
