KARACHI: Customs authorities have presented a vehicle, used in alleged smuggling of drug, before the nazir of Sindh High Court.
Customs officials had seized a Shehzore loader and recovered 20kg charas from the vehicle. The case was then transferred to the Anti-Narcotics Force for prosecuting the accused who were present in the vehicle at the time of seizure but later they were acquitted by the court.
The owner of the impounded vehicle, Waheed, moved the instant petition for release of the vehicle and on a previous hearing court ordered Customs Department to bring the vehicle and hand over the same to the nazir of the SHC.
