KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Thursday witnessed mix trend as it gained value in interbank and weakened in open market.
As per the local money market, the dollar lost 10 paisas in interbank for buying at 104.40 and for selling at 104.60, while it depreciated by 20 paisas in interbank for buying at 105.85 and at 106.15 for selling. On Wednesday, the greenback closed flat in value against the domestic unit in interbank while stood firm in open market. Corporate demand, imports payments and insignificant demand from corporate sector put dollar flat during trading as it closed at Rs 104.50 for buying and at Rs 104.70 for selling in interbank. The dollar remained firm against the rupee in the open market as it closed at Rs 105.65 for buying and Rs 105.95 for selling.
