Faisalabad customs holds auction of non-duty-paid vehicles & goods today

FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate will hold an auction of impounded vehicles and other smuggled goods on May 17.

During the auction of 87 different lots of seized goods, 10 vehicles and 77 other confiscated items will be presented for auction.

All these vehicles and other goods were seized by the Anti-Smuggling Organization and Field Investigation Units of Sargodha, Mianwali, Jhang, and ASO Sara-e-Muhajir during in the region.

Sources told Customs Today that the customs collectorate will present 10 non-duty-paid vehicles for public auction including Toyota Corolla, Toyota Premio, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Land Cruiser, Fork Lifter, Toyota Vitz, Mitsubishi Pajero Intercooler, Toyota Hilux, double cabin dala and Toyota Passo.

Besides, about 77 lots including used tyres of different brands, 95 units of laser jet cartridges (Japan), nine units of electric cables with connectors, dry batteries, 135 units of plastic toys, 350 kilogram of mini-capacitors, fans, 1,200 kg of cotton yarn, 1,687 kilograms of silk cloths, battery operated toys, Indian origin black tea, Samsung branded LED TV in different models and series, foreign origin motorcycle tyres and tubes and other confiscated items will be auctioned off.

The customs collectorate is presenting all the vehicles and goods after concluding the seizure cases.
