LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s Division Bench-II, comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq, heard seven cases and adjourned all of them until the next hearing. The tribunal will hear these cases after Eid-ul-Fitr.
On Monday, the division bench-II heard cases including Cotton Craft versus Customs Lahore, Raja Intezar Mehbood versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat and Furqan Zubair versus Customs Sambrial.
Furthermore, the tribunal heard Customs Faisalabad versus Iftekhar Ahmed, Rana Shokat Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Rehmat Ullah versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore and Muhammad Munir versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore and Union Enterprises versus Customs Lahore.
In all the cases, representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favour of their respective parties. The tribunal adjourned all other cases till the next dates.
The bench two or single bench did not hear any case on Monday because no any case was reserved for the hearing on the previous dates.
The tribunal will start hearing as usual till Friday for the four days of a week and enjoy the Eid Holidays till 28th of June. After Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, Customs Appellate Tribunal will start hearing of routine cases which were reserved for the hearing before Eid.
