FBR directs IR, Customs officers to submit annual declaration of assets

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has advised all the officers of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) and Inland Revenue Service (IRS) to forward their annual declaration of assets for the year ending on June 30, 2016 to the Board.

The FBR has notified that performance evaluation reports (PERs) of all officers must be completed by July 20.

It has been observed that despite repeated reminders/instructions issued from time to time, PERs for year 2016 as well as of previous years of various officers have not yet been received. It is requested that all the concerned officers may be directed to furnish their PER forms to the concerned RO/CO, duly completed upto Part-I & II thereof, under intimation to the Board. The ROs/Cos may also requested to initiate/countersign the PERs and send the same to the Board as per above schedule.

It is also requested that all officers of IRS/PCS and ex-cadre may also be directed to forward their annual declaration of assets forms for the year ending on June 30, 2017 along with declaration of assets for the previous year, if any, to the Board (ERM-II Section) positively by July 31.

The officers have been asked that the performance evaluation reports and declaration of assets for the year ending on June 30, 2017 should also be completed and forwarded to the Board within the announced schedule.
