The court directed the investigation officer (IO) to interrogate the official for 10 days and produce the accused before the court.

Meanwhile, the AC hearing the corruption reference against former DIG Deen Muhammad Baloch and others, indicted a co-accused of the DIG, Murad Bukhsh Baloch; however, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Murad Bakhsh Baloch was earlier absconding in the case but was indicted, on an amended charge-sheet, after he surrendered before the court. On Baloch’s denial on being involved in the case, the court ordered for the production of witnesses at the next hearing.
