Collector Adjudication Mirza Mubashir promoted from BS-19 to BS-20

MULTAN: Collector Customs Adjudication Mirza Mubashir has been promoted from BS-19 to BS-20.

According to details, Collector Customs Adjudication Mirza Mubashir Baig was appointed officiating charge as Collector of the Customs Adjudication. He was additional collector when transferred to Collectorate of Customs Adjudication. Collector Mirza Mubashir Baig has taken charge of Collectorate of Customs Adjudication after the death of Collector Raja Tahir Majeed on 2nd February 2017.

Mirza Mubashir Baig (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-19) has performed as Director in Directorate of Customs Valuation, Lahore on OPS and he was transferred as Collector in the (OPS) Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication), Faisalabad on 25th February. Now Collector Mirza Mubashir Baig has been given BS-20 after promotion.

Collector Mirza Mubashir Baig is one of the professional, hardworking and diligent officer who has command over customs laws and procedures. Mirza Mubashir Baig has excellent reputation in the custom department.

Collector Customs Adjudication Mirza Mubashir Baig has decided 20 various seizure cases of value Rs200.715 million after conclusions during the monetary year 2016-17.

Collector Customs Adjudication has decided several big tax evasion and seizure cases after completion of trial including smuggling of 14 kilogram gold and foreign currency. Collector has issued Order –in-Original (ONO) on the basis of merit after probing facts in the seizure cases. He believes in the speedy justice and he has directed his staff to wind up cases as soon as possible. Huge amount of revenue has been collected from tax payer after collection of duty taxes by imposing penalty in the seizure cases.
