Customs  Appraisement collects Rs1369.13m during August

FAISALABAD: The Customs Collectorate Appraisement collected Rs1369.13 million during the month of August against the set target of Rs932.38 million.

According to the details, Customs Appraisement collected revenue under the heads of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal excise duty (FED) during the above said period.

According to the statistics data available with Customs Today, Faisalabad Appraisement collected Rs323.11 million as customs duty (CD), against the set target of Rs183.11 million. The Customs Collectorate Appraisement branch assigned revenue collection target of Rs 28.39 million.

Customs Appraisement collected Rs 11.80 millions in wake of income tax during the above said period against the set target of Rs20.88 million.

Customs Appraisement Assistant Collector Syed Samad Hamadani says that his department already issued notice to a number of tax defaulters in recent months asking them to clear outstanding tax dues at the earliest to avoid stern action.
