SHC issues notices in imported wash basins case

KARACHI: A Sindh High Court appellate bench has issued notices to the Collector of Custom East and other respondents in a petition pertaining to imported wash basins.

The appellate bench was comprised of Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Omar Sial. Ghulam Hyder Shaikh appearing for the Rocca company submitted that there is no Valuation Ruling for the wash basins. The customs department has to release the goods as per data but they are refusing to do so on different pretexts, he submitted.
