KARACHI: A n Sindh High Court appellate bench issued notice to Pak Burhani Investment Company for an unspecified date.
The appellate bench, headed by Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi, issued notice on the appeal filed by Sindh Revenue Board challenging an order passed by the Appellate tribunal which ruled in favour of the respondent.
Afhseen Aman advocate appearing for the SRB contended that under section 43, sub clause 3, appellate tribunal has no jurisdiction to waive penalties imposed by the SRB officials.
The bench after hearing initial arguments ordered issuance of notices to the respondent company as well as tribunal for a date to be fixed later by the office of the court.
