KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement-East has floated the tenders for the purchase of IT hardware & accessories and furniture.

The tender invite bids from manufacturers, suppliers and importers for the procurement of personal computers, accessories, printers, scanners and office furniture including work stations, chairs, sofas and office table.

It may be mentioned that the collectorate had advertised a tender for the procurement of the same items but a five-member committee had rejected offers made by all the bidders for the procurement of IT hardware and accessories because of high offered prices. The tender for procurement of office furniture is refloated because no bids were received the last time.

It is interesting to note that the latest tender for the procurement of PCs & accessories and office furniture, mentions the last date for obtaining the tender documents on or before December 29 but asks that the sealed bids must be delivered latest by 3:00 p.m. December 26, that is three days before the last date of obtaining the tender documents.
