LCCI office bearers awarded with Business Excellence Award

LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry office bearers and general secretary have been awarded with Business Excellence award.  A large number of businessmen, traders and people of social background were also present on the occasion.

The LCCI president Abdul Basit, senior vice president Amjad Ali Jawa and vice president Nasir Hameed were awarded for their outstanding service for the business community and economic prosperity of the country.

LCCI Secretary General Shahid Khalil was awarded for his landmark services including facilitating the business community and redressal of their long standing issues in the way of their businesses.  LCCI president on the occasion said that media can play significant role in the nation building but in Pakistan media needs training to highlight positively to introduce Pakistan as a peaceful country.

He said that in the result of peaceful projection of the country in the outer world investors would take interest in the projects in the country which would increase production and generate employment.  He lauded the role of the click publication in the welfare and restoration of the handicaps and special children.  Senior Vice President Amjad Ali Jawa said that LCCI has always advocated the cause of the business community as growth in business activities leads to collective prosperity of any nation.

LCCI vice president said that the special children are an asset for any nation and their well-being and betterment is a foremost duty of every citizen. On this occasion former vice president Kashif Anwer, Shakeel Farooqi and others were also present.
