Govt approves promotion of four FBR officials to BS-22

ISLAMABAD: After the approval of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the federal government has announced the names of officers who are promoted to Grade 22. Among them are four officials from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).  Member Inland Revenue Operation Federal Board of Revenue, Ms. Raana Ahmed,  Director-General Post Clearance Audit Khawaja Tanveer Ahmed, Sumaira Nazir and Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib have been promoted to Grade 22 by the selection board.

Sources told Customs Today that Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation FBR Shaukat Ali was not promoted in next grade despite his name was on the list. DG PCA Sumaira Nazir and Sarwat Tahira Habib belong to Pakistan Customs Service Group while Khawaja Tanveer Ahmed is from Inland Revenue.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Haroon Akhter extended his greetings to all those officers who got promotion and hoped that they will serve best in favour of national interest and country.
