FIA apprehends three notorious human smugglers

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three notorious human traffickers named Yasir Taj Din Butt (Islampura-Daska), Muhammad Khalid (Naikapura-Sialkot) and Younas Nawab Din (Baddo Malhi-Narowal) during an ongoing crackdown on human traffickers, their agents and sub-agents in Sialkot region.

Khalid Anees (FIA Divisional Deputy Director) told CT that the accused have been sending the local innocent people abroad illegally after getting big amounts from them.

The FIA has sent the accused behind the bars after registering separate cases against them. Further investigations were underway in this regard.

Meanwhile, Sialkot has got its first-ever driving school as the Sialkot Traffic Police have established an official driving learning school at the Police Line Ground Sialkot where all the people (intending to get driving licence) will have to get training besides passing the necessary driving test for getting the driving licence.

Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Asad Sarfraz Khan visited the driving school on Tuesday (Today) established first time in the history of Sialkot. DPO said this school will run under the direct supervision of DSP (Traffic) Malik Naveed Ahmed.

DPO said the senior traffic police officials will give training to all the driving licence seekers for some time as the time will vary there. He said the training will be compulsory for passing the test.

Meanwhile, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Gujranwala Region Sultan Azam Taimuri will visit the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Thursday (Oct 26, 2017).

SCCI President Zahid Latif Khan told the newsmen that the RPO will discuss, in details, the matters of mutual interest with the Sialkot exporters during an important meeting scheduled to be held at the SCCI.
