However, monthly inflows declined by around 8% compared with June 2026, when investments stood at approximately $306 million.

The total number of Roshan Digital Accounts has now crossed 956,000, while cumulative funds received through the initiative have reached approximately $13.647 billion since its launch.

Of the total funds received through RDAs, approximately $2.118 billion has been repatriated, while $8.603 billion has been utilized locally.

This leaves a net repatriable liability of $2.926 billion, according to SBP data.

The current breakdown includes:

Conventional Naya Pakistan Certificates (NPCs): $684 million

Islamic NPCs: $1.316 billion

Roshan Equity Investments: $151 million

Other liabilities: $76 million

Balance in accounts: $699 million

Total repatriated and utilized: $10.721 billion

Net repatriable liability: $2.926 billion

Roshan Digital Accounts were introduced by the SBP to provide overseas Pakistanis with a convenient channel to participate in Pakistan’s banking and investment system remotely.

Non-resident Pakistanis who own companies abroad are also eligible to invest through the scheme. Funds invested through RDAs, along with profits earned, can be repatriated under applicable rules.

The latest increase in monthly inflows highlights the continued importance of overseas Pakistanis as a source of foreign investment and foreign exchange for Pakistan.

The cumulative investment of $13.647 billion since the launch of the scheme also underscores the growing role of digital banking channels in connecting overseas Pakistanis with the country’s financial markets.
