BEIJING: China’s second-largest logistics and delivery solutions company, SF Express Co Ltd, will help promote Malaysia’s new villages products in China, following a visit by Malaysian representatives to the company’s headquarters last week The delegation consisted of Belt and Road Relationship Promotion Association of Malaysia and China and E-Commerce Association of Malaysia, both presided by Datuk Chai Kim Sen; and the Malaysian Youth E-Commerce and Innovation Commission headed by Chan Wun Hoong. They were received by SF Express’ global sales director Huang Liuquan and its marketing director Vannis Tse at the company’s Shenzhen headquarters.
Matters discussed included transportation and logistics, imports and exports as well as the setting up of a bilateral e commerce platform.
The first product from Malaysia’s new villages have been marketed in Guangzhou since Dec 21. One of these directions, the Asean Special Product Distribution Centre, aims to make Asean especially Malaysia a gateway to market China’s products through both the regular market and e market. The Malaysian Youth E Commerce and Innovation Commission was founded by MCA Youth and other youth associations with the aim of guiding local youth entrepreneurs in e commerce.
