FIU Sargodha impounds non-duty-paid Hino truck

FAISALABAD: The Field Investigation Unit (FIU) Sargodha of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation has staken into possession a non-duty paid Hino truck bearing registration No: SGA-786 (Naseerabad), modelled 2002, worth Rs5million involving customs duties and taxes of Rs3.1million.

Sources told Customs Today that Superintendent Muhammad Tahir received a tip-off about the plying of a non-customs-paid vehicle on the road. He constituted a team comprising Intelligence Officer Mansoor Nasir, Driver Tajam-ul-Haq (Havaldar), Sepoys Muhammad Sajjad and Khalil Ahmed.
