Punjab Revenue Authority issues notice to Shah Mehmood Qureshi

MULTAN: Punjab Revenue Authority issued notice to senior leader of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi for seeking details of his son reception (valima).

According to details, Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehrik Insaaf Shah Mehmood Qureshi invited huge number of people in his son’s valima invitation. Shah Mehmood Qureshi organized reception of Shah Zain Qureshi in the play ground of Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan where almost thirteen thousand people attended his reception.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi organized reception of his son and ensured lavish arrangements for his family friends and guests who came to attend valima from South Punjab and other areas of country. Punjab Revenue Authority took notice when thousands of people were given lavish refreshments in the reception and asked Shah Mehmood Qureshi to give details about arrangements of reception. The food was also cooked in Desi Ghee and butter for making it more delicious for guests.

Reception of Shah Zain Qureshi costs millions of rupees and Punjab Revenue Authority wants to see how much money was spent on the function and catering to determine their outstanding taxes. In the issued notice of Punjab Revenue Authority, Shah Mehmood Qureshi was instructed to submit the receipt of the reception expenses and after scrutiny of expanse. Further action will be taken against Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
