Wasif Memon assumes charge as DG of Islamabad PCA

ISLAMABAD: Wasif Ali Memon, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-20, has assumed charge as Director General (OPS), Directorate General of Post Clearance Audit, Islamabad.

The officer, in pursuance of Board’s Notification No.0121-C-I/2018, dated 22.01.2018, relinquished the charge of the post of Director, Directorate General of Transit Trade, Karachi with effect from January 26, 2018 and assumed charge of the post of Director General (OPS) of PCA, Islamabad on February 6.

Memon had assumed charge of the post of Director (BS-20), Directorate General of Transit Trade, Karachi on October 16, 2017 and relinquished the charge of the post of Director, Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi on the same date. He had relinquished the charge of the post of Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication-I), Customs House, Karachi on February 2, 2016 and took the charge of the post of Director, Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Customs House, Karachi on same date.

Wasif Ali Memon had started working as Collector of Customs (Adjudication-I), Karachi on August 19, 2015. He had relinquished the charge of the post of Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Exports, Custom House, Karachi with effect from July 21, 2014 and assumed the charge of the post of Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Hyderabad on July 23, 2014.
