Customs Court approves judicial remand of accused involved in money laundering

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has approved fourteen days judicial remand of the accused, who was arrested in currency smuggling case.

According to details Faisal Hussain was arrested by the Customs Preventive team deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Customs team during search of his luggage found huge quantity of foreign currency. Accused Faisal Hussain was trying to smuggle currency of Rs 2 million. Customs team recovered US dollars, euros, from his luggage. Customs team produced him before the customs court for getting their physical remand to investigate more on the issue that was approved by the court.
