LAHORE: The Commissioner Appeals has banned the tax recovery from the two known companies till further orders.
The Commissioner Appeals of the Inland Revenue has heard the appeal filed by the two companies named Emco Private Limited and ZKB Limited.
Before the Judicial forum, the counsel for the appellant presented the relevant arguments and prayed for the ban of recovery from the companies by the relevant zone of the FBR. The zonal officer for the Regional Tax Office also appeared before the Commissioner Appeals and requested the rejection of the complaint.
After hearing the complainant and respondent, the Commissioner Appeals accepted the request and stopped the FBR Zon for monthly collection by the companies.
Sources told Customs Today that, due to stoppage of collection by the Commissioner Appeals, the said zone will face trouble due to shortage of huge amount.
