Customs Islamabad allocated Rs4902m of revenue collection target for third quarter

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad has been assigned a revenue collection target of Rs4902million under all the heads for the 4th Quarter (April to June) FY2017-18.

According to details explained by sources of the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad to Customs Today that the collectorate has been allocated a revenue target of Rs1281.83million under all the heads for the month of April FY17-18 while it has been earmarked Rs1401.79million under the same heads for the month of May FY17-18. The MCC Islamabad has been assigned Rs2218.87million of all heads for June FY17-18.
The collectorate has earned Rs624.97million of all taxes during first two weeks of April FY17-18 whereas it has to do Rs656.86million under the identical heads during the rest of two weeks of current month of FY17-18. The MCC Islamabad has achieved 48.76% revenue performance under all the heads during first two weeks of April FY 2017-18 against the allocated target for the entire month.
The MCC Islamabad was earmarked Rs15559.24million revenue target for July to 14th of April FY17-18 while the collectorate generated Rs17045.44million under the same heads during the identical duration. The collectorate fetched Rs1486.18million extra revenue up till 14th of April FY17-18 under all the heads against an earmarked revenue collection target.
The MCC Islamabad showed 109.55% achievement during July to 14th of April of all heads against an assigned revenue collection target. The Collector MCC is optimistic that the collectorate will achieve its allocated target for 4th Quarter under all the heads. The FBR was allocated Rs4000.84million of revenue target for the MCC Islamabad for third Quarter (January to March) FY17-18 under all the heads of duties and taxes.
