Faisalabad ASO impounds non customs paid Toyota Corolla

FAISALABAD: Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has impounded a foreign origin used Toyota Corolla car model 1993. The market value of the impounded vehicle is Rs1,000,000.

Sources told Customs Today, that Assistant Collector Shah Samad Hamdani received information that some non duty paid vehicles are plying on roads. He immediately constituted a anti smuggling squad comprising Superintendent Tanveer Raza Naqvi, and others staff.

The ASO team intercepted the vehicle bearing registration number LEH-17-4457 near Faisalabad and asked the owner of the vehicle who was identified as Mian Maqsood son of Abdul Rehman to produce legal documents regarding the import of the vehicle but the owner failed to provide the same.
