LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal has dismissed the appeal filed by M/s Supreme Tube Industries against Collector of Customs (Appraisement) Customs House Lahore.
Justice ®Malik Manzoor Hussain, Chairman Customs Appellate Tribunal heard the case and examined the record produced by the parties. He also decided the case with remarks that order passed by earlier authority is according to the law and no need to interfere in the same case and dismissed.
As per brief history of case, the appellant is manufacturer of steel pipes of various sizes, dia and export the same in addition to make local supplies thereof. For this purposes of manufacturing and export of pipe the appellant obtained
Department noticed some contravention in the same and Director General of Intelligence and Investigation-FBR constituted committee to check the input output ratio. Being aggrieved appellant filed the appeal before the Supreme Court of Pakistan where appeal is referred to the Customs Appellate Tribunal to decide the case.
Customs Appellate Tribunal heard the case in details and examine record produced by the parties and decided the case with remarks that audit is conducted by the senior auditor and same case has been dismissed.
