He said that Civil Aviation is just focusing on air traffic while for the customs department the passenger terminal and Air Freight Unit (AFU) are equally important. Nisar told that he struggled hard to open the National Bank of Pakistan’s branch at NIIA.

During the meeting, importers apprised their grievances against airline cargo companies. They said that loaders are provided by the cargo companies for importers.

The importers proposed Customs department during the meeting that bank timing should be matched with customs official timing and NBP must install ATM machine at AFU terminal of NIIA.
