FBR collects Rs1.66b under ongoing tax amnesty scheme

SIALKOT: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected tax revenue to the tune of Rs23.94 billion in shape of different taxes from this region during fiscal year 2017.

According to the senior FBR officials, the special teams of FBR collected Rs12.84 under the head of income tax, Rs11. 9 billion as sales tax, besides, collecting Rs10.5 billion as withholding tax (WHT).
