LAHORE: Additional Collector Customs Headquarters Tayyeba Kayani has issued a notification to place off four employees due to their poor performance and with immediate effect.
According to the notification, these officers include Inspector Khan, Inspector Anjum Sheraz, Inspector Azam Hussain Wattoo, Inspector Waleed Iqbal Bhatti and Sepoy Naveed Mustafa . These inspectors and sepoy were performing their duties in anti-smuggling squad of Customs Collectorate of Preventive.
It is necessary to mention here that Collector Customs Preventive Faiz Ahmad directed all anti smuggling squads who are performing their duties in the field formations to adopt zero tolerance policy against smuggling. He said that any employee who will not follow the instructions will be dealt according to prescribed law of customs department.
