Doha Bank honours employees

DOHA: Doha Bank recognised its staff’s contributions and achievements for the month of June 2018, at the ‘Monthly Recognition Award’ ceremony.

Mutasim Elsayed Ahmed and Ali Abbas were honoured with the ‘Most Committed Staff’ awards at the ceremony, for their exceptional hard work and dedication.

Institute of Internal Auditors hold workshop on ‘systems thinking’

Raja Zulfiqar and Hasanali Panjwani won the ‘Staff with Best Idea’ award, while Donna Mayekar grabbed the ‘Best Customer Service Employee’ title.

Riyasmon Chalil, was accorded with the ‘Best Personal Finance Executive’ title and Susantha Bandara received the ‘Best Dealer’ award. Eshraqe Hassan, and Geshan Colombatantri, were recognised for ‘Best Recovery Effort’, and ‘Best Operational Excellence Initiative’ respectively, at the ‘Monthly Recognition Award’ ceremony.

In terms of group awards, Call Centre was recognized as the ‘Best Department’, while Abu Hamour Branch, and Al Gharaffa Branch received the ‘Best Branch’, and ‘Best Branch – Retail Liabilities’ titles respectively.

Dr R Seetharaman, Group CEO of Doha Bank, said: “At Doha Bank, our employees are the cornerstone of our growth, success, and excellence. Through our ‘Monthly Recognition Award’ initiative, we are trying to make a humble effort to acknowledge the contributions of our employees and reward them for their commitment to the organisation, thereby creating a positive and encouraging working place.
