BMG, KCCI extend heartfelt congratulations to President-elect Dr. Arif Alvi

KARACHI: The leadership of Businessmen Group (BMG) and Office Bearers of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) have extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Arif Alvi on securing the highest number of 353 votes in Presidential Election 2018 and being elected as the 13th President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

In a statement issued, Chairman Businessmen Group and Former President KCCI Siraj Kassam Teli, Vice Chairmen BMG & Former Presidents KCCI Tahir Khaliq, Zubair Motiwala, Haroon Farooki and Anjum Nisar, President KCCI Muffasar Atta Malik, Senior Vice President Abdul Basit Abdul Razzak and Vice President Rehan Hanif hoped that the government would now prioritize some of the urgent economic issues being faced by the country and pay special attention to the problems being suffered by the business and industrial community of Karachi since long.

They expected that President-elect Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan would fulfill all the commitments made to the business community of KCCI, particularly their pledge to improve the infrastructure and resolve issues being faced by the business and industrial community of Karachi which continues to contribute more than 65 percent revenue to the national exchequer despite so many odds.

BMG leadership and KCCI Office Bearers also extended full support and cooperation to President-elect Dr. Arif Alvi and PTI government in all their future endeavors focused on ensuring long lasting progress and prosperity across the country.
