QUETTA: Unidentified miscreants blew up a pipeline supplying gas to Pirkoh plant from well No 24 with a remote control device, damaging a big portion of the line and caused suspension of gas supply to the plant.
As per details, armed men blew up a gas pipeline in Pirkoh gas field area of Dera Bugti district, leaving gas supply suspended.
Security officials said that the miscreant had planted explosives to the pipeline supplying gas to Pirkoh plant from well No 24 and detonated it with a remote control device.
A big portion of the pipeline was damaged by the blast and repair work would start soon after security clearance.
