FBR introduces Special Performance Analysis Form for field formations

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has introduced a Special Performance Analysis Form in order to evaluate the monthly performance of its field formations, it is learnt here.

Official sources told Customs Today that the board has introduced and forwarded the Special Performance Analysis Form to all Large Taxpayers Units (LTUs), 18 Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) and Corporate Regional Tax Offices (CRTO) across the country and directed the field formations to submit their monthly performance on the form and send it to the board.

Sources also added that the board has clarified that the “Performance Allowance” and transfer and posting of the head of field formations will be evaluated solely on this performance analysis form.

Sourced further said that the basic aim of this special Performance Analysis Form is to keep focus on the efficiency and performance of all field formations and also to dig out the deficiencies of field formations. The board has also instructed the field formations to fill out the Performance Analysis Form and submit before the 7th of every month, sources added.

It is important to mention here that the board has observed that 9 field formations have failed to achieve the revenue targets set for first two months of Fiscal Year 2018-19, and a separate analysis report has been sent to those 9 field formations which have failed in achieving revenue target in which all the sectors were highlighted where they failed and also directed to how the revenue growth could be increased in those sector.
