On September 25, 2018, counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is engaged in the business of wholesaling of mobile phones and fulfills all legal requirements.

He submitted that importer is seriously aggrieved by the action of the respondents who blacklisted the petitioner under Section 2 (2) of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 without issuing any show-cause notice and suspended the sales tax registration.

Citing Chairman Federal Board of Revenue, Commissioner Inland Revenue Zone-IV, Regional Tax Office-II and others as respondents, counsel pleaded the court to declare that act of the respondents as illegal, mala fide and arbitrary.

Importer also pleaded the court to restore its sales tax registration immediately and restrain them from taking any coercive action against the petitioner till final order in this petition.
