All field offices to remain open on 27th, 31st to collect duties, tax returns: FBR

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that all field offices will remain open on December 27 (Saturday) from 9am to 5pm for collection of duties and income tax returns.

It is important to mention that all FBR field offices remain close on Saturday but department has cancelled the holiday of upcoming Saturday to facilitate the corporate taxpayers.

According to the notification, all the field tax offices will remain open till 8 pm on December 31 to collect the duties, taxes and receipt of corporate income tax returns. The directions has been sent to all chief commissioners of Inland Revenue, all chief commissioners of Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) and all chief collectors of Model Customs Collectorates (MCCs).
