Russia’s Oil Export Revenue Up 37% In Jan-Sept Year-on-Year : Customs Service

MOSCOW : Russia’s revenue from oil exports has surged by 37.7 percent between January and September compared to the same period of 2017 and reached $94 billion, the Russian Federal Customs Service said on Thursday.

According to the customs service, Russia exported over 190 million tonnes of oil over the period, marking a slight 0.1 percent decrease compared to 2017.

Russia’s oil exports have declined by 0.7 percent in September compared to August and amounted to 21.

6 million tonnes. At the same time, the revenue in September rose by 4.5 percent to $11.6 billion.

The export of petroleum products between January and September reached 115 million tonnes, with the revenue leaping by 22.3 percent to $58.7 billion compared to the same period of 2017. Both the amount of Russia’s petroleum products exports and the revenue slightly grew in September compared to August, amounting to 12.9 million tonnes and $7 billion respectively.
