Faisalabad Adjudication decides 19 cases worth Rs24.90m

FAISALABAD: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication decided 19 seizure cases worth Rs24.090 million during the month of November 2018.

According to the details, the Faisalabad Customs Adjudication issued several show-cause notices in seizure cases formed by ASO and Customs Intelligence and Investigation during the above-said period.

Collector Adjudication Asif Abbas decided 2 seizure cases involving an amount of Rs7.606 million. He settled all cases in favor of the customs department.

The cases concluded by Additional Collector Asma Hameed in November were five and all verdicts issued in favor of the customs department involving Rs10.099 million.

The Faisalabad Customs Intelligence and ASO forwarded 12 fresh seizure cases involving Rs 6.385 million to the Additional Collector Asma Hameed for legal proceeding during November 2018.

Collectorate of Adjudication received almost 27 new cases involving millions of rupees revenue for hearing during the said period.
