Hyderabad ASO impounds three oil tankers loaded with smuggled HSD

HYDERABAD: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization Sukkur division  took into possession 108,9 00 liters of smuggled Iranian diesel( HSD), along with  three oil Hino tankers Hino loaded with foreign origin High speed diesel (HSD) Iranian diesel.

Sources told Customs Today that Collector Khalid Hussain Jamali conducted different operations against the smuggling during  month of February and impounded three oil tankers. The collector formed raiding teams under the supervision of Additional Collector Dr Aamer Nawaz Hamid, Deputy Collector Sukkur division Kalimullah which also comprises in charge ASO Sukkur division Sikander Akbar Panhwar, Inspectors Aziz Ahmed Katpar , Makhan Khan and other staff take part in the operations

Sources told  that Collector  Khalid Hussain Jamali praised the performance of the anti-smuggling organization by saying that the Collectorate is improving its performance by impounding Iranian diesel measured 108,9 00 liter including three oil tankers.

Prior to the recovery, the customs team asked the driver of the vehicles for producing the legal documents regarding the possession of the vehicle and transportation of the diesel but he failed to provide any relevant documents.
