Additional Collector Asma Hameed hears 30 cases of smuggling

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Asma Hameed heard 30 smuggling cases on 14-3-2019.

Sources told Customs Today that five cases were forwarded by Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Faisalabad while two cases were forwarded by ASO Mianwali and six cases were belonged to Sara-e- Muhajir. The additional collector also heard six cases which were submitted by DTRE branch Faisalabad.

The Field Investigation Unit Sargodha filed seven cases involving different smuggled items including Toyota Hiace old and used machinery.

Asma Hameed heard five cases forwarded by Jhang ASO against Abdul Ghaffar, Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Khalid, Sheraz Khan and Muhammad Ajmal who are involved in smuggling of old and used tyres.

After conducting hearing of cases Additional Collector Asma Hameed adjourned hearing of all cases until next dates. The additional collector directed all relevant parties to ensure their appearance during next date of hearing.
