FBR seeks performance report of ACs & DCs till April 7

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue has directed chief commissioner Regional Tax Office (Inland Revenue) to present performance report of assistant commissioners and deputy commissioners including Multan Office for evaluation.

The Federal Board of Revenue has introduced monthly performance evaluation system for officers of inland revenue to evaluate performance of different units every month. The Federal Board of Revenue has sought comprehensive report from chief commissioners (Inland Revenue) about the performance of assistant commissioner and deputy commissioners.

Performance management cell (PMC) at Federal Board of Revenue Headquarter, Islamabad will check the performance of March to bring major changes for improvement of tax collection performance in future. The Federal Board of Revenue will also do accountability of officers who could not provide satisfactory performance during the assigned tasks after evaluation.

Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office Multan Abid Raza Bodhla has been directed by Chief Inland Revenue Operations Bakhtiar Muhammad to submit performance report of assistant commissioners and deputy commissioners after overall evaluation with grading of outstanding, very good, good average and below average with numerical and descriptive justification.

Performance evaluation report of assistant commissioners and deputy commissioners for the month of March from all field formations will be forwarded before 7th April 2019.
