Dar launches web portal “Sialkot Job Bureau”

SIALKOT: Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar today launched Sialkot district administration’s web portal namely “Sialkot Job Bureau” during a special ceremony held at Sports Complex Sialkot, here today.

On this occasion, PM’s Special Assistant Usman Dar  said that purpose of this portal “Sialkot Job Bureau” was to provide the necessary guidance and assistance to the local skilled youth in finding out suitable jobs for them , besides, ensuring the easy access of the students to the right websites offering job vacancies through this portal.

Usman Dar said this portal wuld also help in carrier counselling of the skilled youth and students, besides, promoting their abilities in artificial intelligence , skill development, empowerment of youth and main thing to ensure “right man for the right job” as well.

He said that government was committed to ensure the youth empowerment in the country and government was making all out efforts for this purpose.

Usman Dar said that government would soon launch a nation-wide programme namely “Kaamyan Noujwan” to empower the youth by issuing them soft term small loans and providing them relevant jobs purely on merit.

Addressing the participants, Sialkot Deputy Commissioner Dr. Syed Bilal Haider revealed that this portal will play a role of bridge between the government and the youth as well.

DC said that the data of as many as 0.4 million different jobs has been uploaded on this portal.

Dc added that Sialkot was the second district out of all the 134 districts in Pakistan, where this portal has been launched successfully.

Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed (Vice Chancellor Govt. College Women University Sialkot), Prof. Javaid Akhtar Billah (Principal Govt. Murray College Sialkot), Khawaja Masud Akhtar (President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry-SCCI), local PTI leaders and the district heads of the nation-building departments were also present on this occasion…#
